A superficial survey of the world to-day would probably convince the average observer that men in the twentieth century are not especially interested in a life beyond death. The word Immortality has a far-off sound and suggests a topic which does not touch the nerve of the world's living concern. Most men are too busy to think of next year; how then can they find time to think of things beyond time's horizon ?
