If we ourselves could choose how, where or when we enter this life, I'm not so sure things would be much different for us than they are. We would of course, choose nothing but the best for ourselves and then when things went wrong, as we know they most certainly could, we would not have the character, normally taught us of trying times that it takes to survive in this less than perfect life.
