Anne Taylor is a young, independent and successful career woman who lives in New York. She grew up not knowing her father. After he passes away, he leaves her a property in Italy. She travels there to try to find something of her father. Anne finds the family she had never known but always longed for, and an incredibly attractive man; Damiano di Bonifacio.
