This is the story of a hemiplegic child, Autumn. She was a normal baby until delivered by vacuum extraction. Autumn lost seventy-five percent of her left brain from a massive stroke. The book chronicles the family's experience, struggles, and accomplishments from birth to the present. It's a story of valuable lessons but raises questions about our health care, legal system and use of the vacuum.
