The Really Late Library Book

Jeff brings home a library book but forgets to return it after a whole year! Eventually, the library calls him to return the book. Poor Jeff didn't know the library charges money to borrow a book for more than a week.

He learns a lesson in math from his weird friend Dave about the cost of borrowing a library book. This is really bad news, because Jeff does not want his mother to know much money he owes.
