The 300S W188, when introduced in October 1951 in Paris, was considered the true successor of the monumental pre-war 500 and 540K cars. It was the third major new introduction by Daimler-Benz within one single year. This e-book was revised in March 2016 and covers both 300S versions including the very interesting coach-built versions in detail. It explains the cars' chassis number and the different codes of the data card from the early 1950s and as comparison 1960s. On top it lets you drive a 300S roadster and highlights the career of four men within the company, who made all these wonderful cars possible. Like all other books by the author it comes superbly illustrated with many recent color photos. If you want to know more about the 300S and Sc, then this book will surely interest you you.
With over 25 books and e-books written about Mercedes-Benz cars, Bernd S. Koehling has proven to be an authority on the brand. Those books cover cars from the 1947 170V to the 2012 SL R231.
