1997. When choreographer Mac MacKenzie falls for Johnny Chandler the pair begin reliving events that involve a pair of teenage lovers and Texarkana's Phantom Moonlight Killer. Mac and Johnny learn their Forties counterparts met a violent death fifty years earlier. Events could repeat themselves unless Mac and Johnny find a way to confront the past and embrace the present.
