Biddy McKone ruled the village of Toorawn with her tongue. Such was the fear generated by the merest hint of an off-the-cuff remark from her that if Biddy McKone was ever discussed, precautions were taken. No more than two persons would discuss her. Never on the street. Usually in a house with just the two occupants. Most likely in a locked room with nervous glances...just in case.
