Nick Bazebahl and the Wormhole Tunnels

In book 3 both Nick and Samantha slide into a galactic adventure. She has invented a prince who lives on a planet of strange animals, but the prince is covered with boogers. When his zombie-like behavior creeps them out they escape through wormhole tunnels into a space ship designed totally by Nick’s thoughts.
