An Autumn by the Russian River

Jon Sommers ventures on a trip throughout California to try to find direction in his now shattered life, after the tragic murder of his partner. As he drifts from one town to the next, he finally remembers more happy times at Guerneville, a small town near the Russian River nestled in a Redwood forest.

On arrival, Jon has a chance encounter with a younger man Nick, and soon finds himself falling for Nick as they spend more time together. Jon begins to feel his reservations melt about new relationships, when he unexpectedly runs into Marc, the man who first stole Jon’s heart decades ago.

Marc’s jealousy is apparent as he makes it clear he resents the younger man’s competition. Jon’s relationship with Marc becomes strained as he is increasingly attracted to Nick, while Marc will not take no for an answer.
