When the earthquake destroys the archaeological temple site Melinda oversees, she has more to deal with than a creepy volunteer enamored of her who is always offering her tea. Then the ground breaks open under her feet and she falls through, finding herself in an earlier goddess' temple, in the middle of a ritual with her as the officiating priestess.
