Queen Kalabash, the queen of all noses, is terribly lonely and is advised by her chief counselors to have a "Grand Ball and Masquerade Party" to help her choose a king. The nose who wears the best costume will become the new king. A large nose named Schnoz wants to be the king. Schnoz immediately sets out on a fantastic journey to find the best costume to wear to the "Ball."
