Caitlin Cassidy is having one of those days. Every time she picks up the phone, there’s unwelcome news on the other end.

But there's also Alex, her business partner's friend, who keeps dialing her number by mistake. Or so he claims. Alex’s velvet voice gives Caitlin a real buzz but he could be all business in person. If she can’t heat up the sheets with him, can she heat up the telephone wire?
