Krum Starspear reluctantly joins the elite Royal Tail Corps, as all the Starspears have before him. He faces adversity, and summons courage he didn't know he possessed as he struggles to save the love he left behind, deal with a well-respected sergeant who hates his guts, and come to terms with who he really is.
