Iceball is set in the year 2185 with World’s technologically advanced concepts developed but slowly. Jim Malone the chief test pilot for the Nalt corporation is sent on a long mission in a small and untried spacecraft to destroy a very large ball of ice which is on a collision path with the Earth. Unknown at the time it contains a large spaceship with a woman in hybernation.
