Kangaen

Mykal of Holindel is a young ranch hand who is happy with his simple life. But when he stops to assist a beleaguered stranger at the end of a long day, he is thrown into a quest begun in ages past: the final defeat of a dreadful power. Pursued at the outset, Mykal must survive in a strange world that is on the brink of disaster, and find a way to cast off the influence of a demon's curse.
