The First Chief, Sahjeed Deeda, Book Two

A young man, the son of a chief, carries on his duties as the new leader of his people, in the same way his father did. But there comes a time when the old ways do not solve the new issues and Sahjeed Deeda, the tenth in the family line since the frist Ahjeed, three hundred years before.

He and his trusted friends face threats from within and without his Tribe of people. The young Chief struggles to learn the history of his people, a history passed on through memories and chants of the wise men and elders of his people.

He is forced by events to create new ways to keep order among his people and defend the village as a whole.
