After escaping from exile a second time, Tervan and his friends realize they cannot be free to pursue their own lives until the Emperor frees them legally. When they arrive at Galactic Central, the Emperor is nowhere to be found. And people seem to be awaiting Tervan's return. Politics, distasteful at best, once again seems to be calling for him to sort things out. Math was so much easier!
