The Life Cloth tells Ophelia’s story. Returning to the UK to bury her father and pack up her childhood home, she slowly begins to realise that her life is not at all as she understood it. The novel explores identity, loss, the nature of truth and how the same circumstances may be perceived by different people in different ways.
