Lisa North's life seems idyllic. Looks, however, can be deceiving. Her husband, Carl is having an affair with her friend, Helen. He is also embezzling money from Lisa. Her neighbor, Henry has just killed his wife, Katherine, by throwing a venomous copperhead snake on her. Amid the snake terrorizing the town and the attempts on her life, Lisa falls in love for what could be the last time.
