Cryogenically preserved in a time of atomic war, scientist Andrew Hirsch is transported 500 years into a post-apocalyptic future, losing his own world, his wife and children and everything he knows. He discovers a primitive world, echoing a brutal past, and must somehow survive and forge a new life for himself.
