Taking The Plunge

Gwennie is a widow. Short, plump, grey-haired and a pensioner, she’s about to embark on her first visit to the indoor swimming pool for exercise and therapy. Nervous and self-conscious, Gwennie procrastinates, making observations about other people at the pool and fidgeting with her belongings before finally getting in the water.
