Sammy the Stickleback

Sammy the Stickleback is another in the Turlough Tales series, a series of children's book dealing with the goings on at the Turlough, a vanishing lake found only in the West of Ireland.

When the Turlough fills with water all the creatures living in, on, or above the Turlough take advantage of this wonderful habitat, when it empties some creatures disappear along with it, but others survive in its soft hollow dent.

The author Sinead McClure was commissioned to write the series for children's radio in Ireland and this is the first time the series will be epublished in print.
