Kendahl Gets A Puppy

Every year on her birthday, Kendahl has the same wish: she wants a puppy of her own. But every year, her mother tells her, “When you are older,” reminding her that owning a puppy is a big responsibility—and a lot of work. Finally, on her sixth birthday, Kendahl gets her wish.
