In the lands to the West of the Guardian Peaks, there are zombies, necromancers, sorcerers, demons, goddesses, monsters half-human and half animal, and shapechangers that may be either or both. For young Oscan, destined to be a wizard but seduced and then cursed by the beautiful Lady Thorn, his only choices are to become a necromancer, and fulfill the prophecy to kill Thorn, or to perish.
