Sometimes a tumour is more than it seems -more than the tissue it contains. A dermoid tumour of the ovary can contain many types of tissues: hair, teeth, thyroid -occasionally even Brain tissue. Dermoids are common and usually benign... Or are they? Can nerve tissue -a brain's composition- ever be trusted? Or can even a primitive neural network, however disorganized, have a motive?
