A man known as Lucky suddenly becomes very unlucky as he begins to lose one sense after another, eventually cutting him off from any contact with the outside world. This is the story of how Lucky and his wife and two children cope with his increasing alienation and wrestle with the decision to mercifully end his life or continue to hope for a medical breakthrough that will restore his senses.
