Retribution introduces Jason Fox, a privately educated, charismatic young man who is deeply troubled. He supplements his income through crime. Whilst serving a short prison sentence he learns that he is Claircognizant when his cell block is terrorised by an entity determined to hunt down and destroy a serial rapist.
