An odd piece of sea glass transports Laura 30,000 years into the past, where an oncoming asteroid threatens to destroy Earth. Kentir, leader of a project to stop the asteroid, hopes the four people he has brought to Issa can help. Racing against time, Laura and her new friends work with Kentir, while love blossoms between the girl from the 20th century and the man from the distant past.
