This ebook examines suicide risk in association with various skin diseases. Literature reviewed here shows that certain skin diseases may prompt the development of suicidal ideation and self-injurious behaviors among patients. This review suggests that clinicians should understand ways to treat patients at risk of attempting suicide. Practical recommendations for caregivers are provided.
