Rise of Exile

Sixteen-year-old Jason from Bakersfield, California, has never been good at much of anything. His family life is dysfunctional, to say the least, and his school life is even worse; instead of getting to enjoy his summer Jason is forced to remediate his English class from last semester in summer school.

Then, one day, his eccentric teacher vanishes without a trace. Unexplained attacks commence against humanity and Jason's life is turned upside-down as an unexpected mentor comes asking for help from Jason to save the world from this unseen threat.
