When Brett Blue Blake's mother dies, he leaves his career as a stockbroker on Wall Street in New York City to put together a Country-Western band in Texas. He hopes to win the heart of the beautiful Laura Wynne, who he met when she visited New York, while searching for the family of his biological dad, John Blue, and for the man who killed his dad in Waco.
