Weary of the corporate world and the ever-upwardly-mobile lifestyle he's been living, Luke craves a different kind of existence. His marriage to Kate, a super-power realtor, is a failure. Only when he is much older does he find the peace of mind he always wanted, and the love of his life. There are some stumbling blocks along the way, though, as Kate decides she isn't quite ready to let go.
