The Gnome's Children-Book #1 Bright Star Journals

Heather and Edward Fillingston find an old volume in their Grandparents library during a snowy Christmas vacation day. The book opens the key to an old rune and adventures in Logoland.The children talk with the gnome Groundfirm and learn of their part in the ancient rhyme. They find out they have been sent to help free the captive Prince of Logoland.
After their adventure, the children repeat the rune and end up back in their granparent’s library without having been missed. The Grandfather interrogates them about their explorations and comments on the book they read. Other adventures await them in Logoland.
