Diva romance novelist Veronica Harper and her long-suffering personal assistant arrive for a book signing appearance only to discover that they're at the wrong bookstore. Her assistant persuades Veronica to soldier on, but a bizarre encounter with an eccentric fan plunges them into a nightmarish world from which they can't seem to escape.
