Charles Balsam, age 12, aspires to be a trencherman, a person who eats foods outside the traditional food pyramid, like iron, aluminum, bricks and fire hydrants. One famous trencher ate a whole car. But Charles had bigger plans: he wanted to eat New York City, including Rockefeller Center, the Public Library, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Bon Appetit, Charles!
