Ready Reference Treatise: The Homecoming

“The Homecoming” by Nobel laureate Harold Pinter is a two-act play. It was written in 1964. The play was first published in the year 1965.

When it was originally produced in Broadway in the year 1967, the play won Tony Award for Best Play.

“The Homecoming” has retained its appeal and popularity even today, and whenever it is acted on stage in any part of the world, it wins the acclaim of the audiences and reviewers. On its 40th anniversary when it was reproduced at the Cort Theatre, it was again nominated for a 2008 Tony Award for “Best Revival of a Play.”
