Mariuzza, A Life is the story of Maria Bellino Amato who was born in Sicily, emigrated to the United States when she was 16, and experienced numerous family tragedies. Nevertheless, she prospered and eventually died in the garden in her suburban home near New Brunswick NJ in 1979 at the age of 84.
