Martha's Vineyard: My Island, My Memories

Martha's Vineyard gained fame as the place "Jaws" was filmed, and as the vacation spot for Presidents Clinton and Obama. For me, it was, is, always shall be a member of my family. For more than seven generations, I and my family have journeyed to that picturesque spot to enjoy the simple pleasures of summer. The places on that island were pivotal in the shaping of my mind and psyche, and nurturing my soul. Today, some of the special places and events of my childhood are still there; others have been consigned to history. Within this book are the joys, pains, and truly unique nature of this small piece of New England.
