Manu is constantly in love with the wrong person. He runs around a twenty-first century America looking in all the wrong places. An immigrant in a strange land, he goes daydreaming on airplanes and buses, aimless and lost. Looking for work in all the wrong places, Manu dreams the American dream. Is he the enemy? he wonders, running in the long shadow of the violent birth of this Global century.
