Rebel Gold Part One

This novel covers the life of Lucas Stone from a lad growing up in Savannah, Georgia through his time in the Civil War. After the Confederacy collapsed, he saw an opportunity to help himself. He took it and headed West through the still war torn country.
After many adventures, he arrived in Texas to find that the law was after him. He decided to go on the run, around the Horn. Part One ends with him taking ship for the voyage.
