Emergencies in the Merambas

John Hathaway, a young Sydney graduate, accepts a post in the Merambas
where his expertise is needed for a somewhat bizarre government project.
The Merambas are known as a tropical paradise, with friendly, charming
people, but the quiet career John expects is disturbed as he becomes
involved in intrigue, danger, farce and romance, and confronts the
tantalizing mystery of the Sacred Document.
