Harry Laughton was born to a poor immigrant family at the beginning of the 1920's in London, England. With limited education, speech problems and the additional turmoil of a dysfunctional family, he grew to become one of England's major exporters. Along the way he became a Freemason, a murder suspect and almost jailed by the Nigerian government for currency fraud.
