It is now documented beyond the shadow of a doubt that one of every eight women in the US will be diagnosed with breast cancer during her lifetime. And more than 40,000 women will die every 12 months from this dreaded disease.

Fortunately progress is being made to lower that number but there is still a lot of work to be done in that regard.
