Winter of the Elves

"Who are you?" I asked in astonishment.
"I'm Tinder." The thin little man bowed elegantly sweeping his hat off his head and brushing the ground with it. "And the chubby one with the red cheeks is Tempest."
"I'm not chubby," said the creature called Tempest puffing himself up with dignity. "I am just a very healthy elf."
"If you were any healthier you wouldn't be able to walk," declared Tinder. "We would have to roll you along the ground to get you anywhere."

Megan is trying to find the perfect Christmas tree when she is caught in a snowstorm. She is rescued by the most unlikely trio you could imagine, Tinder, Tempest and Timid. The most unlikely thing about them is that they are elves.
Home life is turned upside down when the elves decide to stay with Megan and her family during Christmas Vacation. Old secrets are revealed and new secrets are kept during this special time of year.
