Collecting Ackermans

Collecting Ackermans presents a cheerful and whimsical serial murderer—a sport killer, really—with what struck me back when I wrote it as a wholly unique method of victim selection. That was in 1976, and I still think it's the case. The story first appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine and is presently under consideration for TV dramatization.
