Children of Koloko

Seen through the eyes of a young hero, Yoyo, and his friends, Buff and Dickie, the story of the 'children' of Koloko spans the life and habits of semi urban folks in Africa. It is a beautifully crafted work where the author weaves interrelated slices of life to make a refreshingly original statement on the drift of his generation. Ce’s capacity to amuse by the sheer ribaldry of his narrative and humorous treatment of his characters is in the tradition of the best of modern African satires.
