Doll Face is a metaphorical story written in rhyming verse; an eerie tale about an uninvited "misfit" that dares to mingle at the prince's masquerade ball. Hired to be the chamber maid but her beauty allows her to mingle and be mistaken for the princess. Doll Face is removed from the castle into a foreboding path where she meets the green queen.
