Written as a free verse story poem, "Smartly Ever After" is a tale about a girl named Daffodila who has always dreamed about marrying "Prince Charming". However, Daffodila is so preoccupied with her reflection in the mirror...preparing her hair and make up for the prince, she does not notice that it is her sister Roselida who has won the prince's charms.
