In the 1980,s the writer left her comfortable and predictable life in Australia to embark upon unknown adventures in Tibet, Nepal and India. During the three decades that followed she lived near her Tibetan teachers and endeavoured to follow their teachings and advice.
During those years spent in Their proximity, many unusual and even magical things happened. These forced her to re-evaluate her understanding of what is real and what is not real.
The stories recounted in Tibetan Buddhist Tales are true events in which the writer either participated, witnessed or heard first hand.
There are tales of Yetis and ghosts. There are sad events and humorous ones, but all point back to the fundamental questions as to 'who and what we REALLY are.' Not 'who and what we THINK we are.'
Discovering the Self is the single panacea to solving all of life's seeming problems.
